Patrice Shields brings years of hands-on experience in direct care, behavioral support, and community-based services. Her professional background includes working closely with elementary and high school students in specialized education settings, as well as supporting adults and elders navigating developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, chronic conditions, and cognitive changes.Her experience spans both direct and supervisory roles, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of long-term care, transitional support, and the importance of structured environments. In addition to her direct care work, Patrice has served in leadership roles, including Program Director within an established agency. In this capacity, she oversaw daily operations, staff development, and program implementation, ensuring services remained structured, compliant, and growth-oriented.For Patrice, Aeterna Roots represents more than an organization. It reflects a lifelong commitment to service, stability, and creating environments where individuals can develop confidence and independence through consistent support.
